Kerry H. Brown, A Personal Injury Attorney In St. Petersburg You Can Rely On
My name is Kerry H. Brown.
I was born an Army brat in Ft. Benning, Georgia. Growing up, my military family lived in 2 foreign countries and in 6 states. Florida has been my home off and on since high school.
I graduated from Princeton University as a Politics major. I was a four-year football letter winner and had full football scholarships to Division 1 universities. I turned them down. Instead, I worked through college and served in the student government. I later earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Florida.
My career has been an interesting one. I played one season with the World Football League Jacksonville Sharks. I joined the NFL Redskins, but only pre-season due to “early retirement”.
After the NFL, I became a prosecutor in Jacksonville for over 3 years. I’ve worked as a personal injury defense attorney. For 4 years I represented Publix, Florida’s favorite grocery store, handling slip and fall cases. I was also arbitrator on the first State of Florida Lemon Law Board. I have experience as a Pinellas County Civil Traffic Hearing Officer.
In recent times I have focused more on injured individuals. I have successfully handled several wrongful death cases and other significant plaintiff personal injury cases. I have participated in about 50 jury trials and hundreds of judge trials.
Aside from my career as a personal injury attorney, I live a life rooted in my community. I’m an active member of First United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg. I have been an Abe Lincoln presenter for more than 25 years to schools, civic and political groups. I am a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and The Federalist Society, a national Bar association.
